After the fair, i spent a week in Milan and visited some showrooms which i wanted to see.These kind of big brands don't share the collections online that much.So i wanna start with "LUXURY LIVING" Showroom at San Babila.This showroom has Fendi&Kenzo furniture&Accesories.
Fendi furniture has a classic modern style with functionality.As a fashion brand i really like fendi and its different&elegant designs except the products covered with "F" logos all around.But when it comes to furniture,unfortunately i don't see that much creativity on their collections.There are some details that i like,but i hate to see the big "F" on the cushion or on the carpet.I always support to carry the brands with their designs,not with their logos.It's a very good marketing tool to design the simplest thing and put the logo on it but doesn't seem nice in my design category.And i feel like they are keeping the same line&colours&style.Every season i think i see very similar things.Needs and explosion !
If we take Kenzo on the other hand,they more have an eclectic style.You see more modern,sometimes even reto,even country..more colours more patterns and organic shapes.I still expect more..

Fuar sonrası Milano'da geçirdiğim 1 hafta içerisinde gezmek istediğim bazı mobilya showroomlarını gezdim.Bunlardan biri de içerisinde Fendi&Kenzo 'nun mobilya ve aksesuarlarının olduğu San Babila'da ki "LUXURY LIVING".(ismi fazlasıyla itici gelse de ).Bu tarz büyük markalar çok fazla online paylaşmadıkları için koleksiyonlarını gidip hem canlı gördüm,hem de fotoğraf çekmek yasak olmasına rağmen fotoğraf çektim :) Yasak olduğu için çaktırmadan telefonumla çekmek durumunda kaldım maalesef.
Fendi mobilyaları klasik modern tarzıyla fonksiyonelliği birleştirmiş bir tarzla sunuyor hep ürünlerini.Moda markası olarak çok sevdiğim bir marka olmasına rağmen(her yeri f logolu ürünler hariç) mobilya konusunda maalesef o kadar yaratıcılık görmüyorum.Sevdiğim detaylar var evet;ama bir yastıgın veya halının üzerinde koskocaman bir "F" görmek bana görgüsüzlükten başka bir şeyi yansıtmıyor.Çünkü ben bir markayı logosu için değil tasarımı için almayı tercih edenlerdenim.Evet dümdüz bir şeyin üzerine logoyu yapıştırıp satmak çok iyi bir pazarlama taktiği ama benim tasarım anlayışıma ters açıkçası.Çoğu zaman aynı çizgide,renklerde ve stilde gitmeyi tercih etseler de,sanki bir patlama istiyor!
Öbür yandan Kenzo'yu ele alırsak,Fendi'ye göre daha eklektik bir stil sunuyor.Daha modern hatta kimi zaman retro ve country,daha fazla renk,daha fazla desen ve organik formlar.Hala daha fazlasını bekliyorum aslında..

This lamp has an organic form but it looks more luxury than natural because of the materials.
Bu aydınlatmanın organik formu olmasına rağmen malzemeler dolayısıyla daha çok lükse kaçıyor.

Bu detayı geçen sene de çekmiştim.Bunu çok çok sevdiğimi söyleyebilirim çünkü ürün tasarımıyla dikkat çekiyor ve markanın logosunu detaylarda görüyorsunuz :)
Classy sofa looks classy modern and its fine but i loved more the different size of middle tables.
